Parking becoming frequent/permanent on public green space

Residents have begun to park on this public green space. initially it appeared to be visitors there for a short time but now residents are parking here as a matter of course. I appreciate that parking is tight but if people start to use public green spaces and this is deemed acceptable we will soon have few green spaces left for residents and children to enjoy.

    Parking Services are only able to enforce parking contraventions where parking restrictions are in place, such as double yellow lines, permit bays or other signed restrictions. As there are no parking restrictions at this location, we are unfortunately unable to take enforcement action against the vehicle.

    We note your comments regarding the damage being caused to the grass verge. Although this falls outside the remit of Parking Services, we have passed the information you have provided to the Environmental Support Team for their information and consideration.
