Excess of litter on road and pavements in centre of Berwick

We have only recently moved the Berwick area and we've visited Berwick itself about 30 times at various times during the last 4 weeks.Each time, the amount of litter lying around the main shopping area is an embarrassment. I have never seen a street cleaner - manual or vehicle and I wonder if the council realise what a terrible negative appearance this gives to tourists and for residents. We've recently moved from Alnwick and they had street cleaners out every morning - I know because I drove past them when I was going to work. Could I request a copy of the cleaning timetable you operate in Berwick centre please?
