The drain at the corner of 59 Low Greens is blocked causing flooding

The council has repaired the gutter on the road outside my property at 59 Low Greens to allow rain water to run off into the drain in the street. However after a rain event at the weekend it is clear that the drain in blocked - so that the water is backing-up and pooling next to the house.

  • Great news, we have progress on your report. Our inspection team have completed their investigations and instructed repairs to be completed. At this time the repair does not meet our immediate repair criteria.

    We have added this repair to our future schedule of works. This could be due to several factors we’ve encountered:

    • Further cleaning of the main pipe is required
    • A blockage has been discovered in another area
    • The gulley requires a full replacement
