Overgrown hedging

Reported via Android in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by MR JONATHAN STOREY at 14:44, Monday 13 July 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9778826.

Yet again, the hedge beside the footpath from Two Mile Cottage on the A69 to Warden Bridge is seriously overgrown. The footpath on this busy road with blind corners is no unsafe for pedestrians and runners who now have to use the road in many places. The hedge needs to be properly cut back, not just trimmed like last year. It also needs the rubbish and debris to be removed from under the hedge to widen the useable surface. Can i remind NCC that is they do not take action after this reported, in the event of an injury being caused, they will be held liable for compensation.
