Danagerously uneven footpath surface

After successfully walking the Northumberland Coastal Path, I had a serious fall while walking from the Castle Hotel to Berwick Rail Station. I was pulling my wheeled suitcase and it stopped abruptly on the terribly uneven surface causing me a dangerous fall with only one hand to save me. This could have been life changing had I not been so fit. I suffered a strain to my wrist, severe grazing to my knees and bruising. I would have required first aid treatment had I not had my own first aid kit in my backpack. This pavement on the main pedestrian route to the rail station needs urgent repair..
