Bushes and Hedges blocking view of traffic

Ive reported this problem on this site at least twice but you just 'close the case'without dealing with the issue!! The footpath has been overgrown for 2years meaning pedestrians walk on road and traffic pulling out of Ulgham Lane do so almost blind to oncoming traffic. How long does it take for the council to do something before a serious accident/death occurs?
