Road markings in car park

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9521253.

Over the last 10 days I’ve witnessed 3 near misses due to vehicles going the wrong way on a one way section of the car park due to road markings being so badly faded they cannot be seen. The lines at the entrance to the car park from Castlegate cannot be seen either which leads to drivers not knowing just how to enter and exit correctly.

  • The road markings still haven’t been done in Castlegate car park and I’ve seen vehicles being driven the wrong way on what’s meant to be a one way system due to markings not being visible.
