Two trees half fallen across the road
Reported via mobile in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category by Jenny Thorp at 08:55, Sunday 17 May 2026
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9463730.
There are 2 trees that have half fallen across the road, and are perched very precariously, leaning on a very flimsy looking little tree. When they do fall completely (which they will) they will bring down a wire and completely block the road at best, and at worst they will kill someone.

The trees have shifted, and are now leaning on the wire. I can’t understand why nothing has been done about it. When they do fall they will block the road completely and will bring down the wire. Surely it would be better to bring them down in a controlled manner, rather than risking lives waiting for them to fall completely.
