Weeds growing up boundary walls

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9454536.

I’m aware the grass verge is cut regularly however the edging on the boundary walls of our houses is not getting cut/treated. Could weed killer be placed in this area or cut back at the least. Thank you
