People keep driving on the pavement

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9425712.

People speed up this road which has footpath on only one side. There are frequent near misses at the corner with bywell. When they drive up the road, rather than wait to pass, they drive on the pavement to get two cars through in opposite directions. When walking down the footpath with my daughter to school I have to avoid these unsafe drivers. Traffic calming and/or bollards are needed on Monks Terrace. You previously closed this without any justification. Please take it seriously!
