Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 14:46, Thursday 7 May 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9415571.

This BYWAY which is open to all vehicles has been intentionally damaged with a STILH SAW cutting into the concrete to create a step that is 30 to 50 cm high to prevent access from any vehicle. It is also dangerous for horses et cetera that may want to use this “BYWAY” In addition the concrete that has been cut away has been dumped in the river to try and further prevent people from accessing this public right of way/byway. Builders or maintenance persons have been working on the mill they may have information about who has damaged this right of way intentionally.
