Extensive works not completed last week despite road closure for two days.

Reported via desktop in the Surface Condition category by Kevin Johnson at 16:43, Tuesday 5 May 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9403854.

The C345 was marked up extensively for the works carried out last week 27-28 April but some of the work between Dalton Village Hall and the turn off to Dalton remains incomplete and the white markings still visible. In addition to the large pothole in the middle of the road as you enter the village from Stamfordham Road which immediately reappeared after the workmen left site. This suggests that there has been no inspection of whether the work was completed or done to an acceptable standard.
