Road surface leading to Hill Top Farm is breaking away at an alarming rate leaving potholes and uneven surface which renders drivers and cyclists unable to take a straight route on the left side of the road as they dodge damage to avoid the potholes making driving dangerous on this hilly landscape! Please repair asap.

Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction is assessed on a road. For a footway we will instruct repairs at an intervention level of ≥ 20mm. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team up inspection.
