  • We are sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with motorists parking on yellow lines. Whilst parking is not permitted between the hours of 8-9:30 and 14:30-16:00, however, please note that some motorists may be permitted to park on yellow lines when displaying a valid exemption, provided no obstruction is caused. The Council’s enforcement team is responsible for ensuring motorists comply with the Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs). A Civil Enforcement Officer (CEO) may issue a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) where a contravention is witnessed. The Council enforces a wide range of parking restrictions across the County, and CEOs patrol areas on a rota basis. While attendance at a specific location cannot be guaranteed daily, the issues you have raised have been passed to the enforcement team and patrols will be undertaken as resources allow.
