Damaged trees concern of risk to life

Reported via mobile in the Trees damaging private property category anonymously at 20:18, Monday 6 April 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9247638.

The first tree is leaning towards the house and in the storm during weekend of 4th April, the branches were banging off the roof of the house, a significant safety concern In the second picture, the dislodged branch has become more dislodged in the storm and is only not falling on the house because of the leaning tree.

Concerned for the safety and welfare of people living in Number 9 Towers Close.

The trees are in a privately owned waste area not being maintained by its current owners.

  • This issue has not been resolved and is in an area owned by a family who I am lead to believe do not reside in the Uk (their children have been left to deal with the issue and have not).

It is a concern that neither the family, nor the council have looked to resolve the issue.
