New mirror to aid traffic visibility

A mirror on the A686 at the top of Ouston Bank would provide visibility of traffic on A686 and dramatically improve safety when trying to join the A686 from the road up from Ouston.

  • Thanks for your message. A traffic mirror is not permitted at this location as there are no recorded accidents directly caused by poor visibility. We will consider whether any visibility improvements are justified, such as vegetation clearance or wall lowering/removal.
