Dangerous road surface

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9180601.

Road surface is not even after being temporarily filled in for previous pot holes. Very dangerous, particularly as on corner. Makes the car move towards and across the white lines.

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction is assessed on a road. For a footway we will instruct repairs at an intervention level of ≥ 20mm. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team up inspection.
