Fence post is rotten and due to the recent high winds the fence has broken off from the post.

Reported via mobile in the Damage to Structure category anonymously at 13:02, Sunday 15 March 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9109999.

Due to the windy weather conditions this could become a much bigger problem very quickly and also dangerous to people using the pathway alongside the fencing. This is the pathway that links the end of Kingsgate Terrace and Cockshaw and runs just below the retirement housing of Fenwick Grove.

  • This fence is rotten in various places and is at high risk of falling onto someone and causing injury. There are quite large nails visible that could obviously cause damage to a passing pedestrian.
