Dangerous overgrown tree
Reported via mobile in the Trees in housing estates category anonymously at 08:29, Monday 2 March 2026
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9025323.
I am aware there are several reported trees on our estate. However, tree adjacent to 1 Filey close is absolutely towering over houses, which you can see from photos. There are a couple of branches which are hanging ready to snap on passing people/animals. Even in light winds the height of this tree makes it very unstable. It blocks light on the street light, the path and nearby houses. Thinning out does not help, this needs reducing massively in height. The trees on our estate now need some urgent action, before they cause harm and damage Thank you
