Reported via mobile in the Blocked - Flooding of Road/Path category anonymously at 16:56, Saturday 7 February 2026
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8861909.
This drain blocks every time it rains, it doesn't appear to have been cleared in a while. It causes water damage to the cellars underneath the building as it seaps through the stone

Great news, we have progress on your report. Our inspection team have completed their investigations and instructed repairs to be completed. At this time the repair does not meet our immediate repair criteria.
We have added this repair to our future schedule of works. This could be due to several factors we’ve encountered:
- Further cleaning of the main pipe is required
- A blockage has been discovered in another area
- The gulley requires a full replacement
If this issue is causing a potential flooding concern or poses a risk to a property, please call 0345 600 6400.
Thank you.
