Dog poo!

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8845745.

Amble is starting to look more like a dog toilet than anything else. It isnt that there aren't enough bins as there are plenty....however most of the ones in the real dog walking spots such as the Braid and the Welfare are always stuffed full of normal rubbish which seems to make dog owners think they either dont need to pick poo up or can just leave it in its bag on the floor, so maybe some dog poo only bins may help!

  • UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE MOVING AWAY FROM DEDICATED DOG WASTE BINS AND MOVING TO DUAL PURPOSE LITTER BINS AS ALL OF THE WASTE IS COLLECTED AS ONE. ANY BINS BEING ABUSED ARE LOOKED AT BY ENFORCEMENT AND IF ANY NEW LOCATIONS REQUIRE MORE BINS THEN PLEASE CONTACT THE TOWN COUNCIL AS THEY OWN ALL LITTER BINS.
