Accessibility Issues on Pathway Connecting Castledene to A695 (“Piggy Bank”)

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category anonymously at 09:53, Thursday 5 February 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8843328.

The pathway leading from Castledene, adjacent to the allotments, which connects to the A695, Low Prudhoe (locally known as the “Piggy Bank”), is currently obstructed by overgrown shrubs and vegetation.

As a result, the width of the path has been significantly reduced, making it difficult to navigate. This obstruction presents particular challenges for pedestrians, wheelchair users, and those with prams or pushchairs, and restricts safe and accessible use of the pathway.
