Several large potholes at exactly the same place again on the busy main road

A recurring pothole problem on a busy main road with heavy vehicles eg buses, lorries etc that has not only the holes but a significant amount of debris from them i.e. stones, pebbles that could cause serious harm to pedestrians eg. schoolchildren and/or damage to property eg parked cars (paintwork/tyres) It has also been noted that there seems to be a lack of road-sweeping activity to minimise the potential harm/damage.
