Report not closed

Reported via mobile in the Gritting Request - Roads category anonymously at 18:49, Thursday 8 January 2026

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8649733.

This road was not gritted the night before forecast ice, it is not acceptable to only grit roads after their use. Which obviously for school bus routes it before 9:00 when the council have recorded that the road was gritted for the last three mornings. I feel it is a clear waste of money to grit a road for school bus use after school buses have used the road. This report will not be closed until the issue is resolved, I will continue to make the same complaint until resolution.
