Erupted path trip hazard
Reported via desktop in the Slabs - Uneven / Damaged / Cracked category anonymously at 16:20, Mon 22 December 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8582134.
Firstly, I want to say the pavements in the Cheviot Lodge estate Longframlington are a shocking mess. There are many eruptions, some of which are very raised, as well as several potholes. For elderly people in the area, the paths must be an absolute nightmare. On Friday 12th December at around 09:45 I tripped over an erupted tarmac path and injured my face and knee. I also ripped my brand-new coat. My fall was witnessed by Margaret who lives at 13 Cheviot Lodge. As you will see, I have taken some photographs of my injuries and my ripped coat along with what I tripped over. I have more pictures if needed. I am writing to you because I want this pavement repaired as quickly as possible before someone else trips and injures themselves seriously. I would also like £100 to get a replacement coat for my new coat which is now no longer waterproof. And a further £150 for the injuries I suffered and the pain as a consequence.
