The recently re-laid section of the footpath, following the gas works in Haltwhistle, is currently uneven and presents a significant trip hazard. This pathway is heavily used by people of all ages, and with the change in weather conditions it has the potential to become increasingly dangerous. I would be grateful if this area could be inspected and remedial action taken as soon as possible to ensure the safety of all users.
