Weeds blocking drains

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8439052.

The weeds are causing problems with the drains at this point resulting in water pouring down the road and into the village. Please can the weeds be removed and the drains cleared to take the water away?

  • First couple of drains on the left as you walk up the road seem reasonably clear, further up they are still clogged with leaves and brambles. If it is not cleared then the leaf litter lying along the full length of the left hand side of the road will block drains in the next bit of bad weather. The right hand side of the road is pretty clear of leaves and debris.
