I was walking up West Street in the dark on Friday 14th November at @ 18:30 to get to the Parish Church and fell on this pavement hole. I have badly sprained both of my ankles as a result, having to wear bandages on both ankles and unable to walk without support. Nothing broken but could have been worse. Luckily I’m only 56 but the issue needs to be raised in case it happens to someone else.
