Trees on Brewery Road at Bridgend Residential Park

Reported via desktop in the Trees under a Preservation Order or in a Conservation Area category anonymously at 09:35, Wed 5 November 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8378453.

Brewery Road was Lined with trees on the right hand side at Bridgend Residential Park. The trees have matured over many many years, and had lots of wildlife living in them, birds nesting, hedgehogs on the bottom for shelter, The trees also helped the immediate area from damage during high storms, the property was purchased around a month ago and within 2 weeks of occupancy the property the owners decided to take the trees down, not one thought for wildlife living in there not one thought of if there was any POs on the trees, now what was a beautiful leafy road in Wooler has been destroyed, Wildlife terrified, possible damage to the drainage system due to the number of trees that have been cut down
