Habitual parking infringement on St Wilfrids Road

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 21:03, Mon 3 November 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8372598.

"There is a recurring problem of vehicles parking on single yellow lines along St Wilfrid's Road, Hexham. This illegal parking is causing significant congestion for vehicles driving along the road, particularly during busy hours. The restricted flow of traffic has led to multiple near-miss accidents, including more than one personal close call for myself as a driver. The situation increases risks for all road users and requires urgent enforcement to prevent further incidents and maintain road safety."

  • The problem has not been resolved. Vehicles continue to park habitually on the single yellow lines along this stretch of road, particularly during peak times. The situation remains just as bad as before my original report and continues to cause traffic congestion and safety concerns for drivers and pedestrians alike.

I would appreciate it if further enforcement action could be taken to address this ongoing issue.
