Leaves on path making it slippery

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8350328.

Due to the very smooth surface of the new path and the autumn leaves falling, the path has become dangerously slippery. I walked down the path with a pram and felt myself slipping on multiple occasions and therefore had to use the handrail to support myself.

  • Thank you for your report of leaves, we will review your report in conjunction with other reports of leaves and will deploy cleansing resources as appropriate. Priority for leaf removal is given to sites where leaves need to be removed in order to reduce localised flooding risk in areas where there is a high risk to people and property. Other areas will be cleansed if and when resources are available.
