The temporary portaloos have been placed in front of the Memorial Garden instead of being put around the corner in the public car park.

We are getting close to Remembrance Sunday and portable toilets have been placed in front of the Memorial Gardens and to the side of the Clock Tower. Part of the adjoining car park has been fenced off to facilitate the refurbishment of the public toilets, hence the portable solution, but surely the portaloos could be placed in the car park as well. They are an eyesore in their current location and will be in the way when Remembrance Sunday and the 11th November are celebrated in Amble. Amble Veterans Breakfast Club, with some 110 veteran members, are very unhappy with the positioning of the loos and would like to see them resited.
