Water from road running down drive and around house

The road in Alwinton has been resurfaced in the last few months. Every time we now have heavy rain, it pools on the road outside our driveway, then comes down the driveway and onto the paths around our house pooling around the bottom of the house. This has never been an issue in the 28 years we have lived here, until this year when the road has been resurfaced. This is obviously in the long term going to cause us problems with flooding and not good on the foundations of our house. Please would someone be able to look into this.
