A Road Sweeping problem has been found

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8243255.

Client advises that the road sweeper passes his house twice between 6.30 and 7am, twice a week, and this has been going on for about two months. He says at that time in the morning all the residents' cars are parked up, so the road sweeper isn't really achieving anything. He is asking if it can be re-routed please, and would like a call back, thanks.

  • The path sweeper carries out a morning sweep of the main route within the town daily. This road is part of the main route. The path sweeper can not safely sweep any areas with obstructions from vehicles but will always attempt to attend these areas at various times to try and carry out sweeping.
