In progress
Overgrown vegetation and missing stone corner capping
Reported via desktop anonymously at 16:16, Friday 19 September 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8188401.
1. On approaching the Allerwash Mill bridge travelling East, the overgrown vegetation is obscuring the bridge on left side of the B6319 and there are no road signs to warn drivers that there is a narrow bridge ahead. Vegetation needs cutting back. 2. Also stone corner cap needs replacing at this end of the bridge. 3. Two road signs need replacing on the approach to bridge - see my additional report please. I have mentioned this on previous occasions and suggest that the council checks this part of the B6319 regularly as it is often used by diverted traffic when A69 is shut.
