There are trees on the verge of Hadrian Wall Trail where the roots have damaged the stone wall - these trees should be removed and the stone wall repaired

The trees that have caused damage are the councils responsibility to remove - this was reported to Glen Sanderson on 8th April and need to be removed and the wall repaired

  • Good morning, as this is now in the hands of the new manager for highways department I am closing this on my system. I will be notified by highways when the road closure is in place and remove the trees.
