Unwanted flag on lamppost

Reported via mobile in the flags category anonymously at 17:56, Tue 16 September 2025

FixMyStreet ref: 8174426.

The group which has been attaching union flags to everything in sight came around the street. I saw them put their ladders against the lamppost and went out to politely say no thank you.

Despite my repeated polite requests for them to not attach a flag to the lamppost outside my home, they continued their actions and told me that it wasn't up to me because I didn't own the lamppost.

As you own the lamppost, would you please remove the flag as whilst I have no issue with it generally, it is currently being used as a symbol of hatred, intolerance and racism so in that respect I do not wish to have flown outside my house.

Thank you
