Dead tree
Reported via mobile in the Nuisance or dangerous trees on private land category by Jamie Mathews at 12:30, Mon 15 September 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8166870.
I am writing to request the removal of a tree located at Fern Cottage, Butchers Lonnen (Cottingwood Lane), Morpeth NE61 1EB . The tree appears to be dead, as no leaves have grown this season, and it has visibly weakened over time.
We are concerned that if the tree were to fall, it could potentially cause damage to nearby property. For your reference, I have attached photos showing the condition of the tree.
Could you please arrange for an inspection and advise on the next steps?
