Missing footpath on Nelson Drive between A1171 and Nelson way

This missing footpath makes it difficult for those commuting on foot to Nelson Park from Cramlington or from the train station, as it forces pedestrians either onto a very narrow grassy verge or into the carriageway itself, thereby putting their safety at considerable risk.

The missing section of footpath is situated on Nelson Drive, between its junction with the A1171 and Nelson Way.

I would be grateful if the Council could look into this matter at the earliest opportunity.
