Very large unsupported branch dangerously across road
Reported via mobile in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category anonymously at 08:01, Sun 7 September 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8130060.
Reported many times over the years by several different people. Huge unsupported ancient branch growing completely across public road. Another branch of the tree broke off and was rotten so this one will be the same. Extremely dangerous if anyone under or near it when it does break off and this road is well used. Council has been notified many time so please could this be fixed.

This branch still remains. The base of it is rotten. Very dangerous, with people going under it regularly. Public road.

This has still not been dealt with. It is across a public road and could break off any time. The branch is rotten.

The branch has still not been removed. The supporting trunk is rotten. If it fell on anyone it would probably kill them. This is a public highway with a fair bit of daily traffic.
