Surface drain blocked by debris
Reported via mobile in the Blocked - Flooding of Road/Path category anonymously at 09:14, Thursday 4 September 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8117123.
This drain is completely blocked again and water coming down the gully on Woodside Villas ends up flooding the road (Woodside) potentially the properties on Woodside. This is a recurrent problem that has been exacerbated by the gravel resurfacing of the public footpath between Woodside Villas and the fields above. There is now large amounts of gravel being flushed down the gully at Woodville by the rain and this is collecting at this drain (in addition to leaves and plant detritus). Please can you clear this drain on a regular basis to prevent flooding of the road & properties.
