Why does this light fail so often. The alley is a significant area of ASB which this light somewhat helps with.

  • The electricity supply to the street lighting unit has failed. Northern Powergrid are responsible for the power supply. We notified NPG of the issue on 22/08/25. The standard response time is 35 working days

  • I would put good money on the power being just fine as this has been your procedure before and it proved not to be an issue. What is an issue is the guttering on the building the light is on. This building is wondered by Lawrences and you need to get them to sort gutter to help on water not dripping on to the electrical connection. Multiple visits to not do the right thing and not fix this is wasteful. No response from Northern Grid.
