Rusted Promenade railings

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8012638.

The railings along the Spittal promenade are slowly but surely disintegrating. Some cross beams already rotten and fallen out. Danger to people on the beach and for children falling onto the beach. They are now too far gone just to paint. When will this be tackled as the costs to repair will only increase if left.

  • Some railings have been welded back in place but the rest of the railings are still deteriorating
