Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8011191.

The light is completely surrounded by trees and foliage and sheds no light on the footpath.

  • This path, which is the only disabled access to the eastbound platform at Riding Mill station, is pitch black after dark as the street light is totally surrounded by trees.

  • Same as last year the council are leaving nature to do their work. As the leaves fall off the trees the problem will become less apparent. But as it did this year, it will return in the spring when the leaves grow back.
