Cattle grid fencing smashed by unknown vehicle

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 17:37, Wednesday 6 August 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7989080.

The fencing next to the cattle grid ( which was only repaired a few months ago) has once again been smashed by a vehicle ( probably one of the many wagons who are just able to pass) not taking care. Arguably the cattle grid is too narrow for the type of Eaton’s now using this road regularly. No fence means stock animals can bi- pass the cattle grid and become a potential hazard to road users.
