Action scheduled
Pedestrian crossing markings at Priestpopple entrance to carpark have worn away worn away.
Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 14:11, Mon 4 August 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7977135.
The pedestrian crossing markings have worn away and car drivers are having difficulty realising that it is a crossing. Surprising, because of the Belisha beacons, I know. I have seen several families with young children struggle to cross as cars have not stopped. Or, pedestrians have been crossing and cars have nearly run them over. This is an accident waiting to happen.

I'm really sorry to say that this issue has not been fixed and trying to cross the road safely is becoming even harder than ever. I really now think that it will take an accident before something is done about it. It's all very well telling me that action is scheduled but I'd like to know WHEN it's going to happen.
