Ash tree
Reported via mobile in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category anonymously at 14:42, Fri 1 August 2025
Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7966086.
There is an Ash tree with die back behind our boundary fence and I’m not sure how dangerous it may be as if it falls it will go directly onto the highway. Would someone come and have a look please just in case it need removing before it causes any damage or worse. Thank you

Thank you for your report, currently we do not carry out inspections on private trees. I would recommend contacting a local tree surgeon/arborist to determine if the tree is dangerous. If it is a risk to the highways then this should be removed.

Thank you for your report Gillian. Unfortunately we do not carry out inspections on private trees. I would recommend contacting a local tree surgeon/arborist to determine if the tree is dangerous. If it is a risk to the highways then this should be removed. There are a number of tree surgeons located near you. They will normally come out for free to look at the tree.
Thank you
