Large tall leaning precariously from slight bank on north side of carriageway north

Reported via mobile in the Trees affecting highways or pavements category anonymously at 11:10, Fri 1 August 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7964689.

The very tall line tree is leaning precariously . On a slight bank and the base has lifted from ground which isn’t solid. . Next storm of high winds this tree will more than likely fall onto carriageway causing possible injury to vehicles passing. This tree has been like this since last storm of very high winds and I am surprised that council workers that pass underneath haven’t reported it as I pass weekly . The tree is in a line of other mature trees consisting of pine and other species.

  • The tall pine tree on slight slope is still leaning precariously giving rise to fall in next set of high winds. Needs bracing to ground or removing
