Various footpath repairs

The footpath on Front Street, Longframlington, just past Sea View cottages heading south, has a couple of areas of very broken up surface that require repair. The footpath is is in a very poor state for walking, let alone using a mobility scooter or a child’s pushchair

  • Thanks You for your report. This does not meet the Councils criteria for a pothole repair. Northumberland County Council will instruct repairs on hazardous defects once a depth of ≥40mm and ≥300mm wide in any direction is assessed on a road. For a footway we will instruct repairs at an intervention level of ≥ 20mm. Each report is risk assessed by our Highways Inspection team up inspection.
