Small hedge left to grow out of control

Reported via mobile in the Hedge Cutting category anonymously at 18:22, Tuesday 22 July 2025

Sent to Northumberland County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7918010.

There was a small hedge (no more than 6ft)has now been left to grow out of control. It is right over the footpath and blocks sunlight into our house. The hedge is on the green out the back of Dipton close east wood grange. The hedge has never been cut since we moved in two years ago.

  • The hedge is still massively overgrown. I’m worried that over winter and with bad weather that it may blow over onto my roof. As it’s been heavily cut back on one side.
